CURRENT COIC-KUMBO PROJECTS

COIC-Kumbo is at its infancy and has one main project at hand. The project is to get the four departments of COIC-Kumbo up and running with the necessary equipment needed for training young unemployed Cameroonians. COIC-Kumbo has four departments:

• Automotive Maintenance Department

• Metalwork and Welding Department

• Driving Department

• Computer Department.

All four departments are barely operational due to lack of equipment. COIC-Kumbo needs your help to get most of its departments up and running. COIC-Kumbo is currently seeking sponsorship of equipment needed for the proper functioning of these departments. Your donations will certainly go a long way in helping COIC-Kumbo keep HOPE ALIVE for a lot of young unemployed Cameroonians. Apart from this immediate project, we also have long term projects such as:

• Acquisition of a permanent site and construction of the school.
• Creating Economic Venture Units (EVUs) that will serve as income generating units of COIC-Kumbo thereby significantly reducing, if not eliminating the reliance of COIC-Kumbo on donations, making the institution self-sustaining. The following EVUs are currently being considered:
   
  • Furniture construction
  • Hotel with bar and Restaurant
  • Masonry unit for building contracts
  • Commercial Automotive Maintenance Unit
  • Design and fabrication of Machinery

COIC-Kumbo is open to ideas and suggestions. Please, feel free to help COIC-Kumbo make better choices that would benefit the young unemployed Cameroonians that desperately need such services. Through Affiliate Membership, COIC-Kumbo is open to cooperation and exchange of ideas.
